Indications for Fertility Preservation in Women
- Women who want to delay their future child bearing due to career competition, financial independence, unavailability of stable partner or other personal reasons
- Medical conditions such as
- Autoimmune diseases like SLE, IBD, RA, Pemphigus vulgaris, granulomatosis with polyangiitis, Bechet’s disease or any other autoimmune disorder not responding to immunosuppressive treatment
- Sickle cell anaemia, thalassemia major
- Disorders of HPO axis, oophoritis, benign ovarian tumours, turner syndrome, fragile x, galactosemia which may cause premature ovarian failure
