Options for Fertilization Failure In Previous IVF/ICSI Cycle
Calcium ionophores are now mainly considered as efficient treatments for fertilization failure. Calcium ionophores activates eggs by attaching them to a special culture solution after ICSI. Recently its application for rescuing poor embryo development was proposed but still non routine.
Indications
- Women who experienced failed or low <33% fertilisation in a previous ICSI cycles
- Women aged less than 35years with poor embryo development in previous ICSI cycles
- In severe male factor infertility
